    Conflict Zone

A “Conflict Zone” refers to a geographically defined area where active hostilities or armed conflicts are occurring. This term encompasses regions affected by war, civil unrest, or violence, often characterized by significant disruptions to social, economic, and political structures. Conflict zones may involve military engagement between state and non-state actors, ethnic or sectarian violence, or other forms of violent confrontation. The presence of conflict often leads to humanitarian crises, including displacement of populations, loss of life, and destruction of infrastructure. In such areas, the rule of law may break down, and local populations frequently face severe risks to their safety, health, and well-being.
