    Family

Family is a fundamental social unit consisting of individuals related by blood, marriage, or adoption. It typically includes parents and their children, but may also encompass extended relatives such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Families serve as the primary context for nurturing, socialization, and emotional support, providing individuals with a sense of belonging and identity. The structure of a family can vary widely across different cultures and societies, ranging from nuclear families (two parents and their children) to extended families (multiple generations living together or in close proximity). Families can also take various forms, including single-parent households, blended families, and same-sex parent families. The concept of family is central to many social, cultural, and legal frameworks, influencing relationships, responsibilities, and rights within a given society.
